## About the Role

* Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics
 * Must be a U.S. Citizen with an Active DoD Secret security clearance.
 * 3+ years of experience with relevant firmware development
 * Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL for FPGA-based designs
 * Proficiency in C/C++ in embedded environments
 * Familiar with test equipment (power supplies, oscilloscopes) and software debugging tools
 * Experience in I2C, SPI, RS-232, or other standard communication interfaces
 * Experience working on embedded devices for RF projects preferred
 * Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills
 * Ability to work in a team environment.

## Description

IERUS Technologies is seeking a FPGA/Embedded Systems Engineer to join a diverse and flexible team. The ideal candidate will have two or more years of experience in design and analysis and SDR experience.
Position Responsibilities:

 * Design, develop, and test FPGA-based HDL and firmware
 * Support all phases of system and subsystem development activities with upfront analysis, prototyping, development, and validation
 * Hand-on lab testing of hardware
 * Acquisition and analysis of laboratory data
