## About the Role

Penguin Solutions Professional Services provides essential engineering services for the integration, configuration, and deployment of complex, integrated environments involving high-performance computing, cloud, and enterprise systems. This position requires excellent customer service skills along with strong technical skills to install, document, configure, troubleshoot, and repair the deployed solutions., * Minimum of two years of experience in service installation of CAT6 and fiber cables.

 * Hands-on experience building or repairing compute servers.
 * Familiarity with data center settings.
 * Familiarity with Linux preferred but not required.
 * US citizenship required.
 * Valid driver's license.
 * High school diploma or equivalent.
 * Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.

## Description

* The individual in this position will work independently and as part of a team to build, install, and troubleshoot complex computer and network systems.
 * Perform in-factory and on-site racking and cabling, systems configuration, and systems verification.
 * Assist local technical support and repair engineers.
 * Test and troubleshoot computer hardware and network issues.
 * Fully document processes, procedures, and all work performed.
 * Participate in growing Penguin Solutions' technical capabilities through knowledge-sharing and team activities.
 * Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
 * Travel up to 60% required.
