A successful candidate must have knowledge and experience with large-scale OLTP from multiple perspectives: database, compute, information, performance, storage, network, process, flow, integration, security and application. This position will provide vision, leadership and strategy as well as actively participate in the design, implementation and subsequent operations., * Work under the direct supervision of Senior Software Developers and Software Engineers to perform maintenance on existing software products

 * Develop Transact-SQL procedures and packages
 * Develop Microsoft, Pearl, and Unix Shell scripts
 * Participate in all aspects of the System Development Life Cycle
 * Provide regular operations support of clients via email communications
 * Design, Develop and Implement technical solutions based on business requirements
 * Design and coding of new and existing applications and components
 * Participate in code reviews
 * Perform unit testing and integration testing
 * Perform day to day troubleshooting of issues relating to QA and Production
 * Write technical documents as part of methodology established within the department
 * Write programs according to specifications of higher level staff
 * Work closely on a team of Analysts, Developers, Q/A, and documentation personnel
 * Contribute to software development process standards
