This includes working on multiple-disciplinary teams to develop solutions., All post high school education must have been obtained from a recognized College or University. Additional education or experience may be substituted requirements on a year for year basis should the substitution not conflict with State or Board certification/license requirements. * Associates degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field Required * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field Preferred, * 1 year experience in Healthcare Informatics preferred. * Prior experience or proficiency with EPIC application software is preferred. * Must achieve EPIC proficiency within the first six (6) months of hire date. ## Description Under direction, to perform work developing, analyzing, maintaining and implementing the Epic EMR system software within the Healthcare Organization., * Analyze and prioritize requests for system changes/enhancements, including requirements gathering. Identify potential problem areas and recommend processes and/or system improvements. * Assures proper change control and documentation for upgrades and system modifications. This includes documentation of actions in release notes and coordination with other teams as necessary. * Effectively works as a team member to ensure quality of integration across system applications. This includes working with vendors/third party entities that need to be integrated with the Epic product. * Ensure programs and related components are continuously reliable, available and function as required. * Investigate user problems and needs, identify their source, determine/implement solutions and document resolutions for future reference. This includes working on multiple-disciplinary teams to develop solutions. * Document system and business requirements. Create test plans and scripts for system and user acceptance testing. Assist with and document the development of new operational procedures. * Participate in the development, implementation and testing of application software, specifically those that interact with the Epic system. * Provide guidance and support for ongoing training.
