When in the field, the Support Technician will be tasked with various hardware tasks, troubleshooting, and configuration. In instances, this technician will act as the hands and eyes for the remote Help Desk. When not in the field, the Support Technician is expected to assist with reactive and proactive incident response. Under the direction of the Service Desk Lead, the IT Field Support Technician will have the following responsibilities: * Respond to dispatch requests assigned by IT Dispatcher via the ConnectWise PSA. * Client face and interaction with executive and general level users. * Maintain a dispatch calendar, be on time, prioritize and schedule work duties. * Perform on-site tasks such as the pick-up and delivery of computers and other devices to / from client locations, installation and setup of computers, peripherals, and network devices such as printers, monitors, scanners, mice, special keyboards, and other equipment, as necessary. * On-site troubleshooting remediation such as performing basic PC troubleshooting, virus removal and remediation, network drive and printer setup, adding desktop computers to network domains. * Install and configure network devices such as switches, smart switches, routers, modems, wireless access points, as necessary; including working with ISPs to configure and install internet service. * Perform basic network maintenance functions such as user creation and assignment of rights and permissions. ## Related Videos - [What makes Cybersecurity different for critical infrastructure?](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/571-what-makes-cybersecurity-different-for-critical-infrastructure) - [You’re a great coder?
