## About the Role

* Level 4: Bachelor's degree in Science with 8+ years of relative experience; 6+ years with a Master's; An additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
 * Requires an active DoD Top-Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility at time of application.
 * Programming Languages/Skills: Proficiency in C/C++ including concepts of threading and use of shared memory, Shell scripting, and Python
 * DevOps and CI/CD: Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Bitbucket, Jira, confluence). Experience with Containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
 * Testing and Debugging: Ability to troubleshoot, make bug fixes, and code improvements.

## Description

Job duties will include but are not limited to: Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met.
