## About the Role

* Experience working with Healthcare MMIS systems is mandatory, with a strong understanding of Medicaid/healthcare claims and related business processes preferred.

 * Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
 * Strong experience with C programming.
 * Hands-on experience with Unix/Linux.
 * Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
 * Previous experience with Healthcare MMIS / Medicaid systems is required.
 * Experience with Unix administration and application support.
 * Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

## Description

* We are looking for an experienced C / Unix / SQL Engineer with strong Healthcare MMIS (Medicaid Management Information System) experience. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and supporting applications in a Unix/Linux environment, along with strong SQL skills., * Develop, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot applications using C in a Unix/Linux environment.
 * Write and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database processes.
 * Perform Unix administration activities, including file management, permissions, process monitoring, job scheduling, and system troubleshooting.
 * Support and maintain MMIS applications and healthcare/Medicaid-related systems.
 * Analyze production issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate resolutions.
 * Work with healthcare data, claims processing, eligibility, provider, enrollment, and other MMIS-related functions.
 * Monitor batch jobs and application processes and resolve failures or performance issues.
 * Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, developers, system administrators, and other technical teams.
 * Participate in application upgrades, enhancements, testing, deployment, and production support.
 * Prepare technical documentation and support operational procedures.
 * Follow established development, security, change-management, and production-support processes.
