## Description

A Tableau Administrator is responsible for managing scaling and securing an organizations business intelligence infrastructure primarily handling Tableau Server or Tableau Cloud Daily tasks include user and license provisioning performance tuning system monitoring and providing enduser support, Infrastructure Maintenance Configure patch and upgrade Tableau environments to ensure high availability and disaster recovery Manage server activity logs and perform routine cleanups and backups

Security Governance Assign granular permissions roles and licenses to users and groups Integrate with authentication protocols like Active Directory or SAML

Performance Tuning Monitor system health track query execution times and optimize server hardware and load balancing

User Enablement Create and manage sites projects and data connection schedules Provide technical assistance and training for Tableau Desktop and Tableau Cloud users
