## About the Role

We're less concerned with previous IT experience than we are with attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Ideal candidates possess:

 * Military experience (active duty, Reserve, National Guard, or veteran) strongly encouraged
 * Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools and hardware
 * Strong attention to detail
 * Positive attitude and team-first mentality
 * Excellent communication skills
 * Dependability and professionalism
 * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
 * Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet throughout the day
 * Comfortable traveling 60-70% of the time
 * Valid driver's license and ability to travel by air

Preferred Qualifications
Any of the following are a plus, but not required:

 * Basic computer hardware knowledge
 * Experience building PCs or working with electronics
 * Military communications, signal, intelligence, aviation, maintenance, electronics, or IT experience
 * CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification
 * Trade school, vocational training, or technical education, + West Valley City, UT

## Description

As an Entry-Level Data Center Deployment Technician, you'll help deploy and maintain enterprise server infrastructure by:

 * Installing and assembling server racks
 * Rack and stack server, storage, and networking equipment
 * Swapping components (switches, servers, etc.)
 * Perform cable management and labeling (connecting power whips)
 * Placing, setting and leveling racks
 * Assist with hardware installations and upgrades
 * Replace server components such as hard drives, memory, power supplies, fans, and network cards
 * Perform basic hardware troubleshooting
 * Assist with inventory management and asset tracking
 * Follow customer installation procedures and quality standards
 * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
