Associate's or relevant experience accepted. * Must be able to travel to all sites if/when necessary. ## Description Under the supervision of the Clinical Applications Manager, the Clinical Applications Specialist will help to optimize the Athenahealth PM/EMR and support the day-to-day operations including new implementations, training, content management, and quality assurance. The Clinical Applications Specialist will possess and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of and skill in the areas of healthcare applications, technology, and/or education as evidenced by experience in providing classroom and/or on-site training in health information systems (EHR). They must have the ability to understand healthcare software, explain technical concepts to non-technical professionals, and to translate administrative and operating requirements into clear, specific, and actionable curricula, and then implement and teach those curricula.
