Preferred Qualifications * Master's degree in an engineering discipline. * Experience supporting aerospace or defense programs. * Experience using laboratory and environmental test equipment, including: * Oscilloscopes * Spectrum Analyzers * Environmental Chambers * Knowledge of: * MIL-STD requirements * DO-178C * DO-254 * AS9100 * Experience developing automated test solutions using Python, C/C++, or similar programming languages. This role is responsible for developing test plans, authoring technical procedures, executing system-level testing, analyzing results, and ensuring products meet customer requirements, military standards, and regulatory compliance. Engineering Support * Interpret electrical schematics, engineering drawings, interface documentation, and technical specifications. * Collaborate with systems, software, electrical, and project engineering teams throughout development. * Recommend improvements to product performance, reliability, manufacturability, and test processes. Test Automation & Continuous Improvement * Identify opportunities to improve testing efficiency through automation. * Develop or support automated test scripts using C/C++, Python, or similar programming languages. * Improve testing methodologies, documentation, and engineering processes. * Stay current on emerging testing technologies and industry best practices.
