## About the Role

* B.S. in Civil Engineering or related field
 * EIT certification preferred
 * 4-5 years of experience in Municipal and Private/Land Development engineering
 * Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D
 * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)
 * Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
 * Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills

## Description

* Prepare or assist with the design of site grading, drainage, utilities, soil erosion/sediment control measures, and stormwater management systems
 * Prepare or assist with the preparation of NJDEP and other agency permit applications related to wetlands, flood hazard areas and stormwater management
 * Knowledge of local Municipal Land Use Ordinances to be used to assist with the review of site plans, subdivision plans, plot plans and stormwater management plans
 * Use AutoCAD Civil 3D design tools to prepare engineering designs and calculations
 * Prepare engineering reports to support various design elements of projects
 * Perform quantity takeoffs and prepare construction cost estimates
 * Prepare or assist with the preparations of specifications for public bidding based upon the NJ Local Public Contracts Law and the NJ Local Public Schools Contract Law
 * Engage in regular communication with project managers and other team members in regard to the status and progress of assigned tasks
