## About the Role

* CAD or GIS experience preferred.
 * Knowledge of MapInfo, ESRI/GIS, Visio, AutoCAD, MapCom is preferred.
 * Strong preference for AutoCAD proficiency and/or experience.
 * Strong organizational skills and experience with Excel and Word.
 * Effective communication skills and professional accountability.

## Description

* Support the creation of designs in various applications/software including ESRI/GIS, Visio, AutoCAD, MapCom.
 * Develop and issue work prints for utility networks.
 * Collaborate with Engineering and Construction teams
 * Prepares maps, diagrams, and drawings for installation and construction routes
 * Create funding documents/work packages listing applicable units, bill of materials (BOMS) and applicable purchase requisitions.
 * Ensure designs of facilities are performed in accordance with Company system practices, RUS requirements and requirements of Federal, State and local governing authorities
 * Provide any documentation required for the cost-effective placement of communication facilities
 * Coordinate and ensure proper utility locating has occurred
