## About the Role

* High School diploma or GED equivalent.
 * IT certifications, or in pursuit of certifications, or in pursuit of a degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering preferred.
 * Experience with device setup and configuration preferred.
 * Ideal candidate has some education/experience in programming, database management, and technologies like MS SQL, Exchange, Access, and .Net frameworks.
 * Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

## Description

The Information Technology Support Technician for La Jornada provides IT setup and device support of laptops, Chromebooks, cell phones, other employee-issued IT equipment, and physical site changes/adds/moves for ORR-funded programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Job_Title_Here for La Jornada will perform duties including, but not limited to:

 * Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program's mission, values, and philosophies.
 * Provide new device setup, configuration, and deployment of PCs/laptops, Chromebooks, cell phones, other employee-issued IT equipment.
 * Support the IT team in the maintenance of hardware, software, and other systems.
 * Run software updates and backups when requested.
 * Provide additional Help Desk support for PCs/laptops, end user, hardware and software support.
 * May research unusual bugs or issues that are encountered.
 * Maintain IT La Jornada inventory.
 * Performs other duties as requested.
