 * Experience designing manual or automated weld fixtures
 * Experience designing assembly fixtures
 * Experience designing fixtures for heavy equipment parts or assemblies
 * Engineering degree preferred
 * CAD proficiency required
 * CREO experience preferred
 * Experience developing 3D mechanical designs and detailed part documentation
 * Experience performing engineering calculations for static and dynamic systems
 * Experience creating technical drawings, mechanical layouts, and production documentation

## Description

* Design manual and automated weld fixtures for heavy equipment parts and assemblies
 * Design manual and automated assembly fixtures for manufacturing applications
 * Lead mechanical design of custom automation systems
 * Conceptualize and detail robotic work cells, tooling, and precision positioning equipment
 * Develop and document 3D mechanical designs using CAD software
 * Create mechanical designs from concept through build, testing, and service support
 * Perform engineering calculations for static and dynamic systems
 * Support production and procurement with design documentation
 * Collaborate with fabrication, machine build, controls, and project management teams
 * Review customer technical requirements during design and development
 * Ensure mechanical designs meet project specifications, quotations, and purchase order terms
 * Support estimating, sales, production, and service departments with technical design input
 * Manage design timelines to support project schedules
