Working under the direction of the Special Security Office (SSO), this position helps maintain personnel security records, supports access management, coordinates security training, and ensures security program requirements are properly documented and maintained., The successful candidate will: * Assist with the day-to-day administration of the organization's SCI security program under the direction of the Special Security Office (SSO). * Maintain a security library containing applicable security publications, directives, and reference materials. * Assist with security indoctrinations, debriefings, transfer actions, and periodic reinvestigations as required. * Maintain personnel security folders for SCI-indoctrinated personnel. * Process incoming and outgoing visit requests using the Defense Information System for Security (DISS). * Assist with annual SCI security awareness training and support unit security education programs. * Assist government personnel with accountability, storage, inventory, disposition, destruction, and administration of classified materials. * Support the administration of badge systems, alarm systems, SCIFs, and other restricted areas. * Record and track security program action items and suspense dates. * Assist with the coordination of DD Form 254 (Department of Defense Contract Security Classification Specification). * Track contractor personnel assigned to the unit and maintain records supporting the unit's industrial security program. * Assist with validating personnel SCI access when required. * Perform or coordinate required self-inspections of unit security programs. * Assist with personnel security reporting requirements and corrective actions in accordance with Department of Defense guidance., We are the prime and this is the subcontractors position.
