Technical Competencies * Security tools such as EDR, MDR, SIEM, and vulnerability scanners * Windows desktop and server operating systems * Microsoft 365 and Azure Active Directory. * Understanding of networking concepts, familiarity with routers, firewalls, access points, IDS/IPS and VPN. * Familiarity with Email threat protection tools and concepts. ## Description The Security Engineer plays a vital role in proactively securing our client environments. The role is perfect for someone who is detail oriented, effective with time management, and has strong internal and client facing communication skills all while processing everything they do through a strong security focused lens. The right candidate will ensure the proper deployment and ongoing health of our security solutions, and serve as an escalation point for our reactive security team., * Implement our managed security tools as part of client onboarding or one-off projects. * Meet communicated project timelines and deadlines. * Ensure appropriate documentation of solutions. * Send appropriate internal and client communication throughout deployment.
