## About the Role

* U.S. Citizenship
 * Active DoD Secret clearance
 * Bachelor's degree
 * DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II certification (Security+ or equivalent)
 * Tier 1 service desk operations and ticketing workflows

Experience with:

 * Windows Server administration (AD DS, Group Policies)
 * Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) or Linux variant
 * Basic Systems & Network Administration, and Cybersecurity fundamentals
 * DISA STIG compliance and patching
 * Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills

Desired Skills:

 * Familiarity with Proxmox or VMware (ESXi/vCenter) or other hybrid environments
 * Automation/scripting/coding (PowerShell, JavaScript, Powershell, CSS, HTML, Ansible)
 * Experience supporting classified or LVC training environments
 * Knowledge of configuration management and system hardening best practices

## Description

Serco is seeking a Cyber Systems Administrator to support the DMOC-IDE team at the 705th CTS. This role combines hands-on systems administration with vulnerability management, ensuring Windows Server and Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) systems remain secure, compliant, and mission-ready for Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) training environments., * Administer and maintain Windows Server and RHEL systems in a classified environment

 * Manage Active Directory, user access, group policy, and system permissions
 * Review and apply system hardening and compliance
 * Execute and validate patch management across OS and applications; track and report compliance status
 * Maintain and update POA&Ms, supporting remediation timelines and risk prioritization
 * Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure performance and availability
 * Support backup/recovery operations and maintain system integrity
 * Collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams to implement secure configurations and changes
 * Install and maintain hardware, software, virtualization, and VTC systems
 * Document system configurations, vulnerabilities, and remediation actions
