The employee will frequently drive for long distances and stay overnight in rented motels/hotel rooms. The employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time; stand; walk; use hands to type, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 80 pounds. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Hours of work and days are variable and will frequently include evening, overnight, or weekend work., * Advanced understanding of desktop operating systems, various software applications, and PC/Server/Network hardware. * Intermediate understanding of principles and theories of network systems and management. * Advanced understanding of Internet technologies and products. * Advanced understanding of electrical safety procedures. * At least two years of technical work experience or equivalent education. * At least two relevant technical certifications (e.g. A+, Network+ and Security+) or equivalent experience. * A demonstrated propensity towards and proficiency with customer end-user interaction. Preferred Education and Experience * Associate's (or higher) degree in a computer science-related field. * Four or more years of technical work experience. * Four or more relevant technical certifications (e.g., A+, Network+, and Security+). ## Description The Onsite Solutions Specialist is a staff position that provides technical support assisting end-users with their day-to-day technical issues and support for our project-related tasks that require an onsite presence.
