The appointment will be at the Assistant Professor level. For full consideration, applications should be received by November 1, 2026. Candidates who have demonstrated success in teaching and serving students from diverse communities are especially urged to apply. The successful candidate will have opportunities to teach courses in MIS, including MIS Management, MIS Operations, Enterprise Data Management, project management and statistics. Experience with Python, SQL, R, Data Visualization and SAP is preferred. The standard course load is six courses per year., A Ph.D. (or international equivalent) or terminal degree in Information Systems or a related field is required for this position. Doctoral candidates will be considered if the doctorate will be completed by August, 2027. Preferred Qualifications Preferred qualifications include, but are not limited to, demonstrated teaching excellence (through materials such as evaluations or teaching portfolios), experience mentoring students, and potential for collaboration and productive scholarship/creative pursuits. Candidates should demonstrate effectiveness in teaching and professional activities / scholarship which engages undergraduates and stimulates their vocational potential. Post-doctoral/industrial experience, and/or previous college-level teaching experience is preferred. Successful candidates will have demonstrated abilities in working in an academic community committed to mentoring undergraduates and intentional diversity.
