The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience designing, developing and supporting Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot, microservices and RESTful APIs. This role requires close collaboration with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure and reliable technology solutions. In this role, you will: · Develop, enhance and maintain Java-based backend applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture. · Design, build and consume RESTful APIs that support business and platform capabilities. · Analyse business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions. · Participate in architecture, design, development, testing, deployment and production support activities. · Write clean, reusable and maintainable code aligned with coding standards and engineering best practices. · Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams and other stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle. · Perform code reviews and help ensure application performance, security, reliability and maintainability. · Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner. · Contribute to CI/CD implementation, automation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts. · Mentor junior developers and support technical knowledge sharing across the team.
