The Software Developer IV - Aircraft Operations Center (AOC) supports aviation and scientific missions including hurricane research and forecasting, atmospheric and remote-sensing operations, environmental assessments, surveys, and emergency response. The successful candidate will provide hands-on software engineering leadership while working closely with technical personnel, operational users, scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable, secure, and mission-ready software solutions. What You Will Do in This Role The Software Developer IV - Aircraft Operations Center (AOC) provides hands-on technical leadership for the architecture, development, modernization, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support of mission-critical software applications while guiding development teams and ensuring reliable, secure, and effective solutions.
