Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project/program management certifications are preferred. Minimum 10 years of IT delivery experience, including at least five years managing large-scale programs or project portfolios. Proven experience delivering large-scale warehouse management system transformations. Strong experience in contract logistics, third-party logistics (3PL), warehousing, distribution, or supply chain technology environments. Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent customer-facing deployments. Strong experience in vendor, contract, and systems integrator management. As the transformation program moves from pilot phase to large-scale deployment, the role is accountable for driving a multi-year rollout strategy, with an initial objective of delivering approximately 30 site migrations within 2.5 years. Working in close collaboration with the Global Center of Excellence (CoE), the position combines strategic portfolio governance with hands-on program delivery leadership. The incumbent is responsible for roadmap development, financial and resource management, stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and successful program execution while ensuring alignment with global standards and templates. Key Responsibilities Portfolio Strategy and Governance Lead the North American WMS transformation portfolio across sites and customers in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. Develop and maintain the migration roadmap, including deployment waves, site prioritization, resource planning, and dependency management. Govern multiple concurrent implementations and establish portfolio governance processes, decision-making forums, escalation mechanisms, and reporting standards. Communicate program status, risks, financial performance, and strategic decisions to regional and global leadership while ensuring a balance between executive oversight and operational execution. Deployment Management Lead the transition from pilot completion into large-scale rollout. Ensure all projects follow a structured implementation methodology covering requirements gathering, solution validation, system configuration, integrations, testing, data migration, operational readiness, cutover, go-live, hypercare, and transition to support. Monitor project readiness, critical paths, resource constraints, and operational risks while ensuring stable deployments with minimal impact on customer service and warehouse operations. Drive recovery plans and corrective actions when projects encounter scope, schedule, quality, or readiness challenges. Support go-live and hypercare activities, including evening and weekend coverage when necessary. Global Template Governance Ensure consistent adoption of the Manhattan Active global template defined by the Global CoE. Govern exception management processes, evaluate site-specific requirements, escalate design gaps and regional requirements, and coordinate approved template enhancements. Promote continuous improvement by capturing and applying lessons learned to increase deployment quality, efficiency, and repeatability across the portfolio. Financial and Resource Management Manage an annual transformation budget exceeding $5 million. Oversee forecasting, budget tracking, cost control, variance analysis, and financial risk management. Align project demand with available internal and external resources, prioritize investments according to business value and deployment readiness, and ensure portfolio decisions consider operational, technical, financial, and customer impacts. Customer and Executive Stakeholder Management Act as a senior technology delivery partner for contract logistics customers. Develop strong relationships with customer executives, operations leaders, regional management teams, and global technology stakeholders. Manage escalations, facilitate cross-functional issue resolution, and maintain alignment on project scope, timelines, readiness criteria, and risks. Communicate complex operational and technical topics effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences while maintaining stakeholder confidence through transparent reporting and reliable delivery. Vendor Management Oversee the performance of Manhattan Associates and other technology or implementation partners supporting the transformation program. Establish clear expectations regarding deliverables, quality standards, timelines, resource commitments, and acceptance criteria. Hold vendors accountable for performance, manage escalations, and ensure vendor capacity remains aligned with portfolio requirements and rollout plans. Team Leadership Lead and develop a team of four IT Project Managers and ten IT Business Analysts. Set objectives, delivery standards, and ways of working while ensuring effective resource allocation across projects. Coach Project Managers in governance, planning, financial management, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and executive communication. Support Business Analysts in requirements management, process design, testing, and template adoption. Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement. Organizational Context The role reports to the Regional IT Delivery Director and operates within the IT Delivery organization.
