Vehicles, routes, sites, assets, and safety workflows all depend on knowing where things are and how the physical world fits together. The Maps team is building the shared geospatial platform that makes that possible., We're hiring a Staff Software Engineer to help set the technical direction for this platform. You'll work across the geospatial stack: building data ingestion and processing pipelines, modeling and serving map data, improving map matching and routing foundations, and creating APIs that make spatial capabilities reusable across Samsara. It's a small team with broad ownership, and the systems you build will become foundational infrastructure for teams across the company. This role is remote and open to candidates based in the US.
