Agent guide: [/agents.md](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/agents.md). --- # Scrum Master, Advisor - **Company:** Peraton Inc - **Location:** Huntsville, AL, United States - **Salary:** $86,000.0 - $138,000.0 - **Contract:** Permanent contract - **Skills:** JIRA, DevOps, Scrum Methodology, Scaled Agile Framework, Software Engineering, ServiceNow Customer Service Management - **Published:** August 4, 2026 - **Apply:** https://diversityjobs.com/main/sendform/8/8/28176/1/17836958?backUrl=%2Fcareer%2F17836958%2FScrum-Master-Advisor-Alabama-Huntsville ## About the Role * Active Top Secret/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance with ability to pass a Poly clearance. * Min 8 years with BS/BA, Min 6 years with MS/MA, Min 3 years with PhD an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. * Demonstrated experience as a SAFe Agile Scrum Master in IT. * Demonstrated experience leading Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Grooming, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, PI Planning, and Retrospectives. * Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM I, PMI-ACP, or SAFe). * 1 year Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience. * Some experience with Jira and/or Microsoft DevOps., * Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance. * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently or as a member of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. * Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality. ## Description Peraton is seeking a Scrum Master to join our national intelligence program in Northern Virginia and Huntsville AL that delivers engineering, application development, deployment, operations, upgrades and sustainment of products and services to achieve our client's global missions., * Support team activities to help deliver high-quality software products using an incremental approach. * Identify and remove obstacles/ impediments to ensure effective and efficient workflows and champion the SAFe methodology (ceremonies and workflows). * Support Program Increment Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. * Implement and continually improve SAFe Agile practices. * Support the development effort by conveying the vision to an Agile Scrum delivery team, outlining and prioritizing work based on product owner guidance. * Liaise with stakeholders ensuring their interests are included in the release, and the team to ensure the release is developed by the deadline and within budget. * Support the Scrum process from initiation through delivery. * Serve as liaison between the product owner, development team, and management to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. * Preserve flexibility and ability to rapidly respond to changes. * Help manage the process for how information is exchanged, to include project documentation and briefing materials to the team, stakeholders and program leadership. * Provide expertise in the formulation of systems scope and objectives. * Determine operational objectives by studying functions;
