Comfortable influencing Product and Sales without direct authority over either, and energised by building rigour into a function that's still scaling. If you need a fully defined brief to do your best work, this probably isn't the right role. ## Description As Perk scales, implementation has become a critical lever in the business. Not a support function, but the engine that converts signed deals into live, value-generating customers. The foundation is there. Now we need the leadership to build it into something that scales. This is a seat on the Revenue Leadership Team, leading a function of roughly 35 FTEs, across our travel and spend modules with direct accountability for delivery performance, time-to-value, and onboarding economics. The short version: take a capable but early-stage team, bring operational rigour, build something that performs at scale, and use AI to fundamentally change how we deliver. What you'll be responsible for Delivery and performance You own implementation performance across all products and segments: delivery quality, project throughput, time-to-live, and CSAT. You're expected to move the numbers. Team and organisational leadership You'll lead a team across four sub-teams, developing the mid-management layer. You'll also shape how we work with implementation partners, defining ownership and raising the bar on quality standards. Making implementation leaner and more scalable The manual, bespoke work that slows delivery down needs replacing with standardised packages and repeatable delivery models. A clear bias toward structured over bespoke. Productising onboarding We want onboarding in the product, not bolted on as a services layer. You'll work with Product and Engineering to remove manual steps, define default configurations, and build system-driven setup flows. Technical integration ownership ERP, finance and HR integrations are the biggest source of complexity today. You'll own this area, simplify where you can, and influence the Product roadmap to reduce friction over time. Revenue and cross-functional alignment You'll work closely with Sales, Account Management, and RevOps. Implementation complexity comes up in sales cycles and there's a direct opportunity to affect win rates by making Perk easier to buy. You own that connection. ## Related Videos - [AI PowerPlay: Building High-Impact Teams & Transformative Solutions](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1005-ai-powerplay-building-high-impact-teams-transformative-solutions) - [PySpark - Combining Machine Learning & Big Data](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/44-pyspark-combining-machine-learning-big-data) - [AI Agents & Agentic AI](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/2017-ai-agents-agentic-ai) - [Beyond the Hype: Building Trustworthy and Reliable LLM Applications with Guardrails](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/1594-beyond-the-hype-building-trustworthy-and-reliable-llm-applications-with-guardrails) - [Building the Next Generation of Software](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/100186-building-the-next-generation-of-software) - [How Data is Shaping our Games](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/videos/176-how-data-is-shaping-our-games) ## Related Articles - [Navigating the AI Shift](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/629-navigating-the-ai-shift) - [The Prompt Engineer ✍️](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/216-the-prompt-engineer) - [Prompt Engineering is a Job of the Past](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/342-prompt-engineering-is-a-job-of-the-past) - [Promotion Interview Questions: How to Answer and Get the Job](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/413-promotion-interview-questions-how-to-answer-and-get-the-job) - [Why Your AI Tool Fails After the Demo](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/704-why-your-ai-tool-fails-after-the-demo) - [5 Step Guide to Managing New Job Expectations](https://www.wearedevelopers.com/magazine/343-5-step-guide-to-managing-new-job-expectations)
