## About the Role

* An active TS/SCI security clearance is required for this position.
 * Currently possess DoD 8750 certification at least IAT level II, e.g Security+ce.
 * Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of overall related experience. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
 * Hands-on knowledge of configuring and managing network infrastructure, including switches, routers, VLANs, and 802.1X network access controls.
 * Proficiency with dynamic routing protocols, including BGP and OSPF, as well as troubleshooting Site-to-Site (S2S) IPsec VPN tunnels.
 * Ability to monitor and troubleshoot network performance, security, availability, and connectivity.
 * Comfortable working 24×7 shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays., * Prior experience with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners.
 * AWS Cloud service experience.
 * Experience with Palo Alto devices.

## Description

* Network monitoring of connections and performance to ensure network availability for user access and services.
 * Proactively identify risks and issues in the network and complete actions to mitigate them.
 * Able to plan, coordinate and implement network maintenance, installation, and security to protect and improve network infrastructure.
 * Receive and review user requests to establish or resolve issues with user access to services.
 * Troubleshoot and resolve network issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers or vendors.
 * Configure, install, and maintain network devices and software.
