## About the Role

At least 1 year of leadership or team-lead experience in a warehouse, production, or data center environment
Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and measurement tools
Experience with inventory control, quality assurance, and warehouse management systems
Ability to interpret diagrams, schematics, and SOPs with strong attention to detail
Excellent communication, organizational, and team leadership skills
Knowledge of 5S standards and safe work practices is a plus
Able to lift, push, and pull materials frequently throughout the shift

## Description

Nexeo HR is seeking a Data Center Logistics Lead to support mission-critical infrastructure build operations at a cutting-edge data center in Sparks, NV (Near USA Pkwy). The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong technical skills, production or warehouse leadership experience, and the ability to guide a team through precise, fast-paced build activities. Apply now!, Lead daily build and logistics activities, ensuring server rack placements, component installations, and material movements are completed accurately, safely, and on schedule.
Oversee the assembly and installation of electronic components, cabling, and hardware inside server racks by following detailed schematics, diagrams, and SOPs.
Verify server rack placement on the data center floor using laser measurement tools to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance.
Conduct thorough quality inspections on incoming and outgoing materials, confirming correct part numbers, quantities, and overall condition.
Manage freight loading and unloading operations, ensuring shipping documents and inventory records are complete and accurate.
Perform and oversee daily inventory cycle counts, replenishment of critical spares, PPE, and build materials, and maintain real-time inventory accuracy.
Process RMA and return shipments of electronic components through warehouse management systems.
Install hardware using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring devices while maintaining proper documentation.
Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks.
Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant build area by upholding 5S standards and data center safety requirements.
Provide hands-on leadership by assigning tasks, monitoring team performance, conducting self-checks and peer audits, and supporting continuous improvement.
Assist in training team members on installation techniques, equipment handling, documentation accuracy, and safety procedures.
Communicate with cross-functional teams to coordinate build schedules, resolve issues, and support operational goals.
Perform additional data center, warehouse, and assembly duties as needed, including heavy lifting, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.
