In this role, you will be responsible for helping ensure the stable, secure, and efficient operation of RMG's computer network. You'll manage critical network infrastructure, servers, security solutions, hardware, and connectivity while also troubleshooting end-user technology issues and helping employees get the most from the systems they use every day. We're looking for someone who can see both the big picture and the smallest technical detail-someone who can troubleshoot an immediate issue while also thinking proactively about security, reliability, capacity, and future network needs. What You'll Do As our Network Administrator, you'll have responsibility for a broad range of network infrastructure, systems administration, security, and end-user support functions., * Manage and maintain the company's computer network. * Maintain network servers, security solutions, hardware, and equipment. * Monitor network health and help ensure reliable connectivity throughout the organization. * Perform network design and capacity planning. * Install, configure, maintain, secure, support, and optimize network hardware, software, and communication links. * Administer and configure network routers and switches. * Manage Active Directory and end-user accounts, permissions, and access rights. * Manage servers, including email, print, and backup servers and their associated operating systems and software. * Manage network security solutions, including firewalls, antivirus solutions, and intrusion detection systems. * Perform server and security audits. * Conduct security testing. * Perform system backups and recovery. * Develop and maintain network administration, acceptable-use, security, and disaster-recovery policies and procedures. * Assist with developing service-level and security agreements with end users. * Oversee the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of workstation hardware, software, and peripheral devices. * Ensure network connectivity for workstations. * Administer hardware and software upgrades. * Monitor and test network performance and prepare performance statistics and reports. * Recommend, schedule, and implement network improvements, upgrades, and repairs. * Maintain network asset inventory, documentation, and technical specifications. * Research network products, services, protocols, and standards to support purchasing and technology-development decisions. * Work with vendors, contractors, and outside service providers to secure network products and services. * Troubleshoot end-user hardware and software issues accurately and efficiently. * Provide end-user training when needed., We're looking for experience and working knowledge in areas including: * Current network hardware, protocols, and standards. * Cisco product stack. * Network routers and switches. * Active Directory. * Windows and Linux operating systems. * Microsoft products and application support. * Server administration. * Network security. * Firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems. * System backup and disaster recovery. * Hardware troubleshooting. * Network performance monitoring. * Network asset management and documentation. * Data privacy practices and applicable laws. * Technical and information-security standards, including familiarity with the ISO 27000 series. * Security practices aligned with PCI and ISO 27K standards., Technology is integral to virtually every part of our business-from the systems our employees depend on each day to the infrastructure supporting our operations and customer programs.
