The ideal candidate will have strong experience in NonStop technical support, UNIX/Linux production operations, and messaging middleware engineering and a proven ability to design, automate, and support resilient low-latency, high-throughput messaging solutions., * NonStop Technical Support expertise: OS, Coldloads, Safeguard, TAL, FUP, PUP, SCF, Backups, Expand, and Xypro tools (XAM, XAC, Compliance Pro). * 2-4 years in a UNIX/Linux production environment managing hundreds of hosts. * Minimum 4 years programming in Perl, Python, Bash, or a C-derivative (C++, Java). * 2-4 years experience with data structures and databases (SQL and NoSQL). * Strong knowledge of network and security protocols: TCP/IP, SSL/TLS, SSH, SFTP. * Experience troubleshooting production applications and delivering on-call support. * HSM support experience with Utimaco and Futurex. * Proficiency with Linux and Windows and general information security concepts. * Automation skills with Ansible and proficiency using Git, Bitbucket, Jira, and Wiki. * Experience with middleware concepts and platforms such as AMPS, MQ, or Kafka, and platform OS (Windows, Unix). * Programming experience interfacing with web and backend system interfaces. * Familiarity with multiple authentication methods, including Kerberos and SiteMinder. * Excellent written and oral communication with strong documentation skills in MS Office, Visio, and Project. * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
