An Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) Tech Lead is a senior-level role focused on leading the design, integration, and delivery of scalable AJO platforms to enhance marketing operations and personalization capabilities
Role Overview
The Tech Lead combines strategic and technical leadership to:
Architect and implement AJO solutions with agency or internal delivery teams.
Align marketing use cases with journey logic, segmentation, and activation workflows.
Ensure compliance with GDPR/CCPA and consent management requirements, Solution Architecture & Implementation: Lead AJO solution design, integration with Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) and Real-Time CDP, and platform configuration (offers, decisioning rules, triggers, journeys)
Data & Schema Design: Define XDM schemas, identity stitching, real-time event models, and customer attributes.
Integration & Optimization: Partner with Data Engineering to optimize Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses for AJO activation.
Journey Orchestration: Upgrade and scale customer journeys for better personalization; validate data flows and integration processes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Email Ops, Marketing Ops, Martech, CRM, Legal, and Brand teams.
Documentation: Create platform configuration docs, use case mappings, and QA plans
