## About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support the development of advanced automotive interior components and systems. This temporary engineering opportunity is ideal for professionals with a strong background in vehicle interior design, product development, manufacturing processes, and supplier collaboration., * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field required.

 * 4+ years of experience developing automotive interior components and systems.
 * Strong knowledge of interior trim design, manufacturing processes, and supplier capabilities.
 * Experience with product specifications, program timelines, and launch activities.
 * Understanding of injection molding, compression forming, lamination, GD&T, and build-to-print engineering.
 * Experience designing systems with manufacturing feasibility in mind., * Experience supporting a complete automotive program from concept through production launch.
 * Knowledge of vehicle safety, ergonomics, materials selection, and structural performance.
 * Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

## Description

* Lead the development of automotive interior systems including instrument panels, door panels, consoles, headliners, and trim components.
 * Create and maintain technical specifications, engineering requirements, and development timelines.
 * Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers.
 * Support product packaging, engineering releases, validation, and production launch activities.
 * Drive design-for-manufacturing (DFM) improvements and supplier readiness.
 * Utilize CAD tools, preferably CATIA V5/V6, for concept development and engineering reviews.
