## About the Role

* Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
 * Proficient typing and computer skills, including Microsoft Office
 * Working knowledge of current Windows and macOS operating systems
 * Basic understanding of networking fundamentals
 * Ability to manually identify and remove viruses/malware without relying on third-party removal tools
 * Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for onsite visits
 * Must reside in Colorado
 * Clear, professional spoken and written English
 * Evening and Weekend availbility
 * Must pass a background check (no felony convictions, DUIs, theft, or violent offenses)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Knowledge

 * DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLANs, and firewalls
 * Newer versions of Windows OS
 * Newer versions of Apple OS
 * Basic understanding of common security vulnerabilities and how systems get compromised
 * Smartphone setup/support and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
 * General understanding of cloud computing concepts

## Description

Colorado Cloud is looking for a customer-focused IT Technician to join our support team. You'll be the first point of contact for our clients - answering support calls, managing incoming tickets, and often heading out for onsite visits. This is an entry point into our company with real potential to grow into a more advanced technical role based on your skills and interest.

Responsibilities

 * Drive to and perform a variety of onsite IT operations for our customers
 * Answer inbound support calls and provide friendly, professional customer service
 * Respond to and resolve daily support tickets
 * Review and maintain the ticketing system to keep it organized and up to date
 * Perform onsite client visits as needed, sometimes on short notice
 * Diagnose and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues
