You will monitor security activity, investigate potential incidents, strengthen security controls, address vulnerabilities, and support clients in improving their overall security posture. This position combines hands-on technical work with client-facing leadership. You will serve as a trusted security resource, explaining risks in clear terms and recommending practical solutions that align with each client's needs. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex problems, working across varied technology environments, and taking ownership of security outcomes. Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Monitoring and Incident Response * Monitor alerts generated by security and operations platforms. * Investigate suspicious activity and potential security incidents. * Contain threats and perform timely remediation across client environments. * Coordinate incident-response activities with internal teams and client stakeholders. Security Controls and Environment Hardening * Deploy, configure, and manage next-generation firewalls, MDR/EDR platforms, multifactor authentication, and other security controls. * Review system configurations and recommend improvements that reduce risk. * Apply security best practices across endpoints, networks, cloud services, and business systems. Vulnerability Management * Conduct vulnerability scans and security reviews. * Identify vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and gaps in security controls. * Prioritize findings according to risk and coordinate corrective action. * Track remediation efforts through completion. Identity and Access Security * Manage user access, permissions, and authentication controls. * Support secure account-provisioning and deprovisioning practices. * Review access levels and help clients apply least-privilege principles. Risk and Compliance Support * Assist clients in understanding and meeting applicable cybersecurity and compliance requirements. * Lead or support security risk assessments. * Present findings to clients and develop clear, actionable remediation plans. * Help establish and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices. Security Awareness * Support or lead security-awareness initiatives for client employees. * Help users recognize and respond appropriately to phishing, social engineering, and other common threats. * Reinforce practical habits that strengthen each client's overall security culture. Documentation and Reporting * Maintain accurate documentation of security configurations, incidents, investigations, and remediation activities. * Prepare clear reports for technical and nontechnical audiences. * Keep client records and internal systems current.
