This individual will join a small, highly experienced engineering team building the next-generation platform powering connected devices and automation systems. The team is replacing a legacy stack with a modern Go-based architecture that will serve as the foundation for future product releases. The ideal candidate is a strong Go developer who is comfortable jumping into existing codebases, solving complex bugs, contributing to middleware development, and building scalable APIs using gRPC and Protocol Buffers. This role offers the opportunity to work on a brand-new product initiative, collaborate with senior engineers, and help create a platform that will support multiple hardware environments for years to come. Candidates who enjoy ownership, problem-solving, and working in a fast-moving engineering environment will thrive here.
