## Description

We are looking for a Systems Engineer with a Cyber background to join the NGP Ground System program. The person in this role will support the senior technical authority for the day to day execution of the cybersecurity work stream, providing direct support to the Lead and Deputy Lead Cyber Systems Engineer., * Coordinating the design, implementation, verification, and documentation of NIST RMF 800-53 controls (e.g. translating and tracing technical specification requirements) and ASD STIG requirements across software and hardware components, both technical and program policies (documentation).

 * Determine control program applicability from customer flowed cyber controls, and determine gaps. Advise and shape resolution on gaps through working technical meetings with senior leaders and customers.
 * Partnering with development, test, and integration teams to "sell" and validate cyber requirements, drive remediation, and prepare artifacts for accreditation.
 * Embedding DevSecOps and software assurance practices into existing CI/CD pipelines and overseeing the secure integration of COTS/FOSS solutions.
 * Producing and updating security artifacts on an accelerated schedule and presenting concise status briefings to program leadership.
 * The role is mission critical, time sensitive, and requires an individual who can hit the ground running, navigate a complex stakeholder environment, and maintain the highest standards of security while delivering results within a tight window.
