* Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience

 * 3+ years managing software engineering teams using Agile methodologies for Enterprise SaaS applications

 * 10+ years building large-scale commercial backend services (AWS, Java, Spring Boot, MySQL)

 * Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking skills; able to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment

 * Excellent communicator and active listener, comfortable presenting to large audiences and leading group activities

 * Proven mentor with a track record of developing successful teams, * 5+ years of experience leading high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced product development environment.
 * Demonstrated success in building, scaling, and retaining strong engineering teams
 * Strong people-management skills with experience handling performance reviews, career development, and succession planning.
 * Proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive alignment across cross-functional groups
 * Experience leading multi-team or multi-project initiatives with clear business impact
 * Strong background in strategic planning, resource management, and budget forecasting
 * Expertise in setting engineering standards, driving process improvements, and establishing operational excellence
 * Ability to foster a diverse, inclusive, and psychologically safe work culture
 * Experience managing teams in a hybrid or distributed work environment
 * Strong mentoring and coaching capabilities-ability to develop next-generation leaders
 * Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
