## About the Role

* 4+ years of experience in vulnerability management, security configuration management, or information security analysis
 * Hands-on experience with vulnerability management tools such as Qualys, Wiz, Apiiro, or similar platforms
 * Experience working with remediation teams and ticketing tools including ServiceNow and JIRA
 * Experience with process automation, reporting, and operational improvements
 * Strong understanding of security baselines, vulnerability scanning, risk analysis, and remediation processes
 * Knowledge of on-premises and cloud security environments
 * Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and strong project management skills
 * Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities

## Description

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Information Security Analyst in San Antonio, TX., * Support vulnerability management activities across infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments using data from scans, penetration tests, and security assessments

 * Analyze, track, and validate remediation efforts, including root cause analysis and risk mitigation recommendations
 * Maintain and support vulnerability management tools, dashboards, reports, and ticketing processes
 * Partner with technology teams to automate processes, improve remediation workflows, and implement security solutions
 * Monitor penetration test findings, coordinate evidence collection and retesting, and manage exception processes
 * Provide technical support for vulnerability management tools and reporting
 * Develop and maintain self-service reporting and dashboards using tools such as ServiceNow and Tableau
 * Identify process improvement opportunities and support continuous enhancement of vulnerability management capabilities
