## Description

The Scalable, Software-Defined, Supportable S-Band Radar (S4R) software (SW) organization is seeking a Deputy Lead Software Engineer responsible for directly supporting Lead Software Engineers (LSWEs) in leadership efforts including the following:

 * Coordinating the planning, organization, integration, and completion of software development projects.
 * Coordinating activities concerned with technical development and resolving engineering design and test problems for specific SSR program(s).
 * Identifying and facilitating the resolution of SW development blockers.
 * Assisting in the development and ownership of software processes and future SW strategy.
 * Leveraging proven processes, lessons learned, and best practices from other parts of business or industry.
 * Reviewing program estimates and facilitating the collection of regular metrics to inform SW progress and serve as historical basis for future work.
 * Supporting overall Agile development process through the planning and execution of Cycle Planning, Cycle Review, Retrospectives, and continuous monitoring throughout the development.
 * Providing SW status and plans to program leadership and supporting program level meetings, presentations, and reviews.
