## About the Role

* Strong proficiency in cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
 * Solid understanding of microservices, APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
 * Expertise in solution design across enterprise systems, integration platforms, and data layers.
 * Strong background in system security, data privacy, and compliance.
 * Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-oriented language.
 * Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and infrastructure-as-code frameworks.
 * Proficient in software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps).
 * Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Other Requirements

 * Bachelor's, Technicaldegree,or related work experience(NetworkEngineering / Computer Science/ etc.)
 * Minimum5-7years of technical experience with increasing responsibility
 * Minimum3-5years' experienceconsulting,designing, implementing, and integrating Cisco,Palo Alto,Juniper,andotherNetworking technologies (e.g.,Cloud WAN /SDWAN/SASE /etc.)
 * Combined experience asNetworkConsultant,Operations, andAdministration
 * Proficiencywith the design, implementation,andconfigurationofCisco, Palo Alto,and Cloudnetworking & security solutions(e.g.,Cloud WAN,SDWAN,SASE, etc.).
 * Available to travel to client sites upon reasonable request

## Description

SHI's Network & Security Solutions Architects will represent SHI as the trusted advisor on all areas of Networking (i.e., routing, switching, load balancing, VXLAN, SDWAN, firewalls, etc.) & Network Security (e.g., NGFW / VPN / NAC / SASE / etc.). They will possess skillsets related to analyzing, designing, and implementing Security, Cloud, and Data Center (on-prem / hybrid) Network services. This includes initiating and participating in projects comprised of both technical and non-technical team members. Consultants will possess excellent communication & collaboration skills and the ability to produce professional presentations intended to influence at all levels of an organization.

This position is a remote position with home office setup as determined by SHI management.

Role Description

 * PerformsImplementation servicesthat may includedesign,architecture analysis, deployment, troubleshooting,configuration, upgrades,migrations,andnetworkengineering
 * Assistsleadership with strategy and develops technical roadmaps for futureNetworking & Securityservices(e.g.,Route/Switch, Cloud WAN,SDWAN,SASE, etc.)
 * Serve as the technical lead and subject matter expert onCustomerprojects/workshopsandbeing accountable for theproject outcomes
 * Collect,produce,and update deployment and design documentation
 * Develop, update, andcontinually improveNetwork & Security Serviceofferings
 * Act as a trusted advisor for ourtechnical sales teams,assistwith opportunity discovery,participateincustomersolution / engagement scoping,and sales enablementefforts
 * Assistsales/ pre-salesteamsinidentifyingand closing opportunities through customermeetings and presentations
 * Identify, develop, anddocumentbest practices/recommendations (people/process/technology), andassistwithstrategy & roadmapplanning
 * Effectively communicate findings and recommendations to technical and executiveCustomerstakeholders through written deliverables and verbal presentations
 * Evangelize SHINetwork & Security Service Offeringsacross SHI and Partner community through webinars, meetups, and conferences
 * Develop reports,lessons learned,presentations andsupportingdocumentationfor bothCustomerengagementsand internal discussions
 * Stay current onnew technology, trends, and market behavior by studying market trends and the industrylandscape
 * Obtain applicable technical certifications, directed byannual professional development plans &leadership
