The Surface Training Systems (STS) Program Office, PMS 339, is the PAE Maritime single point of contact for strategic program planning, policy, acquisition, life-cycle management, research and development, and technical insertion into all existing and future Navy Surface Training Systems. This position is a hybrid position in the greater Washington, DC area with requirements to be present in the Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC with one day's notice., Serco is seeking an experienced Data Scientist / Data Analyst to support management of a new Surface Training Data Ecosystem (STDE) program for PMS 339. This contractor supports the PMS 339 STDE Assistant Program Manager in coordinating data integration and modernization efforts across the Surface Training Program (STP). The role is primarily program office support such as coordination, documentation, stakeholder engagement, and analytical support. Candidate will understand data hygiene, data structure, and data accessibility are the foundation of any downstream analytics or AI/ML ingestion, can navigate the data architecture and related problem space, engage credibly with technical and senior stakeholders, and drive coordination on issues that have no existing playbook in the surface training community.
