Experience should include customer journeys such as: * Product discovery and search * Basket/cart and checkout * Customer journeys * Promotions * Payments * Order management Experience integrating commerce platforms with CMS, PIM, payment, search, promotions, customer and order management systems is highly desirable. You should be confident challenging technical decisions constructively, diagnosing complex issues using code, logs and telemetry, remaining calm during major incidents, and balancing rapid service restoration with long-term engineering quality. Contract Details ## Description We're looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Technical Architect to provide technical leadership for a strategic composable eCommerce platform supporting a major retail and optical client. The role combines architecture, engineering leadership and production support, with a strong focus on commerce tools, MACH architecture, TypeScript/Node.js and Microsoft Azure. You'll play a key role in transitioning technical ownership from an incumbent supplier while driving platform reliability, continuous improvement and engineering best practice.
