The ideal candidate would have the knowledge and experience to proactively solve future network problems, and manage business expectations when it comes to network performance. This role will be mostly focused on project work. Some of the day to day responsibilities for the role will include: Network Operations Support: * Cisco LAN/WAN technologies (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF), failover via multiple WAN providers * Layer 2 WAN (VPLS) and MPLS WAN environment. Utilization of broadband as failover for some sites * BGP Internet failover with multiple providers on ASN. * Cisco Nexus/Catalyst datacenter switching and Cisco Firewall (ASA and Firepower) with multiple services in HA design. * Palo Alto Firewalls and Palo Alto Global protect for remote access and IPSec VPN solutions * Cisco Wireless * Citrix ADC load balancers for troubleshooting and deploying new VIPs.
