Preferred Experience Experience with managed IT services and technologies such as: * Managed IT Services * Network Security * VoIP Solutions * Cloud Services * Microsoft 365 * Server Support * Network Cabling * Backup Solutions * CCTV Systems * Remote Monitoring & Management (RMM) * Business IT Infrastructure What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who can be our local hands-on technical resource in Houston. When a client has a networking, VoIP, computer, server, CCTV or other IT-related issue that requires physical presence, this person will visit the site, troubleshoot the problem, resolve it whenever possible, and coordinate with our remote technical team for more advanced issues. ## Description The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of Networking, VoIP, IT Infrastructure, Servers, Workstations, CCTV, Cloud Services, and general IT support. The engineer will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving issues onsite and coordinating with our remote technical team when required., * Visit client locations in Houston and surrounding areas for onsite IT support. * Troubleshoot and resolve networking, internet, Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN and connectivity issues. * Configure and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, access points and network equipment. * Troubleshoot and maintain VoIP/PBX systems, IP phones and extensions. * Handle VoIP-related issues including call quality, connectivity, extensions, routing and configuration. * Provide onsite support for computers, laptops, printers and other IT equipment. * Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365 and user-related IT issues. * Perform basic server and network troubleshooting. * Assist with network cabling, patch panels, racks and physical IT infrastructure. * Troubleshoot and support CCTV systems, DVR/NVR and IP cameras when required. * Assist with cloud, backup and security-related IT services. * Perform hardware installation, replacement, configuration and troubleshooting. * Diagnose issues and determine whether they are related to hardware, software, networking or service providers. * Coordinate with ISPs and other third-party vendors when necessary. * Maintain proper documentation of onsite visits, issues, troubleshooting steps and resolutions. * Provide professional technical support directly to clients at their locations. * Follow up on unresolved issues and coordinate with the remote engineering team. * Handle emergency/urgent onsite technical support when required.
