Deal with behind the scenes logic and infrastructure that powers the application. Constructing server-side logic, managing databases and ensuring that the application remains secure, scalable and efficient. May also design and develop the user interface part of website or application that users interact with and collaborating with front end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements and optimize performance.
