 * 3+ years of experience in Java development
 * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
 * Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts
 * Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
 * Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus
 * Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
 * Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
 * Strong communication and collaboration skills
 * Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
 * Strong attention to detail and ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

## Description

* As a Java Developer at Stairway Digital Strategies, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining bespoke web-based applications for our clients. You will work closely with our team of designers, project managers, and other developers to create functional, efficient, and user-friendly websites that meet our clients' needs and surpass their expectations.
 * Key Responsibilities:
 * Develop and maintain web-based applications using Java and related technologies
 * Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
 * Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to achieve project goals and meet client requirements
 * Troubleshoot and debug technical issues as they arise
 * Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the software development industry
 * Continuously implement new features and improvements to existing applications
 * Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues
 * Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
 * Communicate project progress and potential roadblocks to project managers and other stakeholders
 * Follow industry best practices and adhere to coding standards
