Preferred Qualifications * Experience with annuity policy administration platforms. * Experience supporting eApp or digital insurance application solutions. * Exposure to Agile project methodologies. * Insurance coursework, certifications, or industry experience. Required Education * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, Insurance, or related field. * Equivalent experience may be considered., While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and communicate with others. This may be over the phone, in person, or through email and messaging. The employee must be able to hear customers and agents over the phone. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand; walk, and use their hands and fingers to work with the computer, phones, filing cabinets, paperwork, etc. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours as needed to complete work and ensure operations/business is not interrupted or slowed. ## Description The System Analyst I helps support the FAST policy administration system and Firelight eApp systems. This role assists in gathering requirements, documenting business processes, supporting system implementations, and troubleshooting production issues., Business & Systems Analysis * Assist with gathering, creating, and maintaining documentation, and validating business and system requirements. * Partner with business users to understand operational processes and identify opportunities for improvement. * Participate in requirements sessions, project meetings, and solution reviews. * Support impact analysis for system enhancements and product changes. Testing & Quality Assurance * Create and execute test cases and test scenarios. * Assist with User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. * Validate system functionality against documented requirements. * Document and track defects through resolution. * Support production implementation and post-deployment validation.
