This will help you stand out * Experience working with Svelte or similar modern frontend frameworks . * Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices . * Exposure to healthcare, federal, or insurance (MedSupp) systems . * Strong understanding of performance optimization and scalable architecture . * Prior experience mentoring developers and contributing to team best practices. ## Description We are seeking a highly experienced JAVA Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in modern web technologies to build and enhance scalable applications. This is a hands-on role suited for a seasoned developer who can design, develop, and deliver high-quality features across both frontend and backend layers while contributing to continuous improvement of the application stack. In this role, you will: * Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end features across the full stack, including backend services (Node.js/Express) and frontend components (Svelte/modern JS frameworks). * Integrate APIs with external data sources, including federal and MedSupp systems, following spec-driven development practices. * Perform peer code reviews and enforce coding standards, best practices, and strong TypeScript usage. * Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Vitest and Jest. * Ensure production readiness through CI/CD pipelines and adherence to build and deployment standards (OptumCICD). * Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve production issues across middleware, APIs, and client-side applications. * Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to align on requirements, timelines, and deliverables. * Mentor junior developers through code reviews, design discussions, and knowledge sharing. * Identify and address technical debt while optimizing application performance (e.g., caching, middleware efficiency). * Maintain technical documentation and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and upgrades to keep the technology stack modern and secure.
