## About the Role

To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:

Required Education and Years of Experience:

 * 8 Years of experience in Cloud Engineering roles or a highly related field of work with similar scope and responsibilities.
 * A Bachelor's degree may be substituted for 4 years of experience and a Master's Degree may be substituted for 6 years of experience., * TS/SCI with an active CI Polygraph
 * Expert knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022)
 * Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services and architecture
 * Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and automation
 * Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and identity management
 * Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, load balancing)
 * Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware)
 * Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes on Windows)
 * Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (ARM, Terraform, Bicep)
 * Willingness and ability to work flexible schedules, including potential shift work

Desired Qualifications:

 * Microsoft certifications (Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Windows Server)
 * AWS or GCP certifications for Windows workloads
 * Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) or Citrix
 * Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)
 * Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Datadog, Splunk)
 * Understanding of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
 * Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity planning
