## About the Role

* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in IT or related field preferred
 * 1-3 years of experience in IT help desk, technical support, or similar role
 * Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems; familiarity with macOS a plus
 * Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts
 * Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
 * Ability to explain technical issues in simple, non-technical terms
 * Customer-service oriented with a professional and patient demeanor
 * CompTIA A+ or similar certification preferred but not required
 * Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Work Environment

 * On-site role based in Downey, CA
 * Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and lift up to 25-50 lbs (equipment)
 * Occasional after-hours or weekend support may be required

## Description

We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused IT Help Desk Technician to provide first-line technical support to end users. This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring timely resolution of tickets, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.Essential Responsibilities

 * Respond to and resolve help desk tickets via phone, email, and in-person support
 * Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating systems (Windows/Mac), and basic network connectivity issues
 * Set up, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices
 * Assist with user account management, password resets, and access permissions
 * Document all support activities and maintain accurate ticket records
 * Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff when necessary
 * Provide clear communication and excellent customer service to all end users
 * Support software installations, updates, and basic system maintenance
 * Assist with inventory management of IT equipment and supplies
 * Perform other related duties as assigned
